Finding an item

Use Find to search item names, box names or location labels. Each matching item includes its box and location. Open its box to view the contents and optional photo. You can record and search inventory without photos.

Keeping your inventory

BoxFind stores inventory on your device. Before removing the app or changing phones, open Settings → Export complete backup and choose Save to Files. A complete backup includes all saved boxes, items and photos; drafts and purchases are excluded. Keep the exported file somewhere you can access later.

To restore, open Settings → Restore from backup and select your complete BoxFind backup. Review the counts before confirming: restoring replaces current inventory and drafts. An incomplete or unsupported import does not replace existing inventory. Backups are not password-protected by BoxFind; share them only with people or services you trust.

Lifetime access

Three boxes are free, with unlimited text items. The optional one-time Lifetime purchase allows additional boxes. Photos, search and complete backups are available to everyone. The app displays Apple's localized price.

For an existing purchase, use Settings → Restore purchases with the Apple account that purchased Lifetime. Restoring purchases is separate from restoring an inventory backup. Losing purchase access does not remove or hide existing inventory.

If a purchase cannot be verified, check your connection and try again or restore purchases. If you still need help, email the contact above with the displayed message. Apple handles payment and refund requests.

Photos

Choose a photo through the system picker or take one with the camera. You can change camera permission in iPhone Settings. Cancelling photo selection or denying camera permission still allows text inventory capture.

Privacy
